Winning Bet

β€œI win! Now shell out the money.”

β€œYou know that’s not what I said.”

β€œNo excuses, I won the bet fair and square.”

β€œNo you didn’t. I said you should go off the beaten path, not off the vehicle path.”

The photo prompt has been given by Sandra Crook at the Friday Fictioneers hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields and the word prompt (Path) has been given for Six Sentence Stories at the Girlie on the Edge hosted by Denise Farley.

  7. Another fun Six, Bernadette! Reminded me of an experience once in Paris. Busy street, traffic slow. A taxi cab decided he’d bypass the jam so he swerved around the car in front and drove a portion on the sidewalk. Came back onto the street and away he sped. I’d never seen anything like that, lol Wild.
