Little Land

While playing Hide n’ Seek, Robert ran looking for a hiding place. Reaching the end of the garden, he climbed into a little cave.

He came out the other side and lo and behold, there was a mansion, the size of a dollhouse. In front, a pool with cranes and swans and nearby a little forest with lions, deer and bears.

He felt like a giant in this land of tiny things and decided to visit the mansion, perhaps he could get a ‘tiny’ paper and pen to write a letter home. “Don’t touch,” said the little girl who stayed next door (and suddenly appeared with her friends); these are our toys.

The photo prompts have been given by Sandra Crook at the Friday Fictioneers hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields and by Goroyboy at the Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers (FFfAW). The word prompt (Crane) has been given by Six Sentence Stories at Recording Life Under The Radar (Thanks for hosting it till now).
