Art Style

“How do you find your art style?” She flopped onto the nearby stool, shoulders drooping.

Across the room, her friend sprinkled her magic on a canvas. Reds, yellows, greys — the wonder-whirl of colours didn’t stop, nor did their patient user. The final droplet of violet hopped from brush to canvas as she stepped back with a content sigh, “I think I have your answer.”

Feet shuffled, the easel scraped the floor as it spun, “That’s me!”

“Yes, your art style is a culmination of all that’s you.”

The photo prompt has been given for the Friday Fictioneers hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields and the word prompt (Style) has been given for the Six Sentence Stories hosted by Denise Farley.
