A Lazy Mess

You’re so lazy, this place is a mess! The sink is full, the closet stinks and there are crumbs all over the floor. See that dish over there? I almost kicked it. The Christmas decorations are still up and the plants seem to have died 6 months ago. The rug looks like… Woap… Ouch… Ouch… You can’t even see the basement stairs here!

This piece may have been inspired by someone I know 😉

The photo prompt has been given by Jennifer Pendergast at the Friday Fictioneers hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields and the word prompt (Kick) has been given for the Six Sentence Stories hosted by Denise Farley.

  5. Oops! With all that complaining, maybe the “fall” wasn’t accidental.

  7. Sounds like somebody needs to get busy. Whether the narrator or not, I’m not sure.

  10. Hi Bernadette – yes … oh dear – people and messy ones at that are a bit much … but it’s life. I’m on my own and occasionally I think oh help – but mainly paper mess thankfully! Cheers and all the best – Hilary
