The rainbow or Vibgyor (short for violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red) are just beautiful to look at. It is caused by the sun’s rays (which is made up of different colours) which splits into various colours when it gets reflected by raindrops. However, waiting for a rainbow to appear can be tedious.
So presenting a way to make your own rainbow:
What you’ll need:
- Sunlight
- Water
- Blank piece of paper (white)
What you should do:
- Put the glass of water in such a way that the sunlight passes through it.
- Hold the paper behind the glass and watch the magic happen.
