Resolutions

“Wasn’t your New Year’s resolution supposed to be ‘stay organised’?”

“Yes…?”

“Then why are there papers, bags and… is that an old Visa card on the floor?”

“My other resolution is to get better at art.”

“So?”

“Most artists on Instagram say that every work of art goes through an ugly phase before reaching perfection; this is mine!”

The photo prompt has been given by Roger Bultot at the Friday Fictioneers hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields and the word prompt (Visa) has been given for the Six Sentence Stories hosted by Denise Farley.

  25. So right about the artistic process – ugly, chaos, disarray – we have to go through it before we have the beautiful result! Loved this.
