Another day and another cooking contest at Aambyville. Among the frontrunners is Ms. Ilsa’s Lotus dessert. “Is there anyone who can beat that?” asked the announcer. A cheer roared through the spectators as a few kids rose to the challenge. The judges tasted the soup, glanced at the title and walked off.
‘Is this the new winner?’ we wondered, curiously moving ahead to check the title:
A Recreation of the World Famous Smelly Sock Soup.
‘Smelly Sock Soup’ was a hilarious story in my English textbook when I was a kid. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to remember or find the author’s name.
