WEP: Antique Antics

โ€œIf you keep bringing in junk, this place will soon look like a rubbish heap instead of a restaurant.โ€

โ€œHush, just look at the intricate carvings right above the keys and the not-too worn-out pedals; itโ€™s well-loved! Letโ€™s put it opposite that beautifully graffitied table to keep some space for dancing.โ€

โ€œWhatever,โ€ she rolled her eyes; โ€œmake sure your love for โ€˜so-calledโ€™ things that imbibe feelings donโ€™t bankrupt you.โ€

That night, as the moonlight streamed in, the interiors lit up with a royal shine. The enchanting melody of a sonata drifted up as patrons from different centuries mingled.

  17. Hi,
Your take on the prompt is awesome. it brought back memories of when I was studying in Munich, Germany. I stayed in a pension called Cafe Beethoven and on Friday evenings, I could hear whoever was playing the grand piano in the restaurant playing the Moonlight Sonata. A job well done in so few words.
