Chocolate World

“Do you think the steam engine needs more sprinkles?”

“I’m still not sure whether this is a good idea.”

“Why not? Maybe I should add gems in the centre of the gears and steering wheels…”

“Well, the recent trend has been about healthy eating and I don’t think Chocolate World falls under that category.”

“My dear, beans and carrots may nourish the body. Chocolate nourishes the soul.”

I’ve finally managed to get the old WordPress editor back!

The yummy photo prompt has been given by Jennifer Pendergast at the Friday Fictioneers hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields and the word prompt (Gear) has been given by Denise Farley at the Girlie on the Edge.

    1. I’m with you Iain. Too much chocolate can make you sick – too much carrot can turn you orange 😉.

  4. Absolutely. If God intended us to eat carrots, he’d have made them taste like chocolate!

  6. I happen to live near Chocolate World (Hershey, Pennsylvania) which has recently expanded despite Covid. I can guarantee that chocolate is NOT going out of fashion around here. LOL. Thanks for a story that really made me smile. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to drop by Chocolate World and get a tiny, free piece of chocolate following the free Chocolate Indoctrination Ride. (Not actually called that, but it should be!)

    Good Six!

(so how did you accomplish the re-establishing of the classic editor*?)

But, they should make it a bit more obvious on how to roll back such changes.

  16. “Chocolate nourishes the soul”. Yum. My soul loves it when I say that. Good Six, and glad you found the WordPress Classic editor! I would give some peace offering chocolate to the team responsible for squashing us under their ‘blocks’, but I don’t think they have a soul?

  17. Chocolate is good for the soul – truer words were never spoken, LOL. I personally think that there is no such thing as too much chocolate, but I don’t get to indulge very often. Good story.

Isn’t chocolate a separate food group? Fun story. All beans and carrots make for a dull diet.
