WEP: Self-Conversation

“I think you can kiss your goal goodbye.”

“I’m sure I can make it up, I can’t be that far behind.”

“You are. Everything’s been piling-up. If you used actual Sticky Notes or paper instead of your phone, there wouldn’t be any space for me to move.”

“Give me a break. You know how packed the last two weeks were.”

“No break, get to it.”

“But…”

“GET TO IT!”

“Fine”

“You can start with today’s blog post first.”

I wanted to write something funny & romantic but the past few weeks have been so packed, I think I’m out of ideas 🤔.

Word Count 78 words: For comments, anything works.

The photo prompt has been given by Ted Strutz at the Friday Fictioneers hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields.

  1. During 2 Category 3 Hurricanes and the destruction of my apartment and now with my car’s tires buried in 5 inches of ice, I am having similar self-conversations! Nice light-hearted post. 🙂

I come from a time long before smartphones. I used to write notes to myself on scraps of paper and stick them in my purse. Unfortunately, my dinosaur would always eat them.
