Zzzzzzzz… “Make sure you tell her to eat well to survive through this,” I heard someone in the background call out.
Today there was a Digital Art competition in Aambyville to allow the restless kids at home a ‘healthy’ outlet. I sneaked a look at my work email before opening the Zoom window again.
Harry took the stage (or the webcam window), “our first picture, the hunchback of Notre Dame. The second, uhh… a bunch of squiggles, the third picture…” he froze, mouth half open.
Judging the competition has been postponed to next Thursday due to connectivity issues.

The photo prompt has been given by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields at the Friday Fictioneers. The word prompt (Hunch) has been given by Denise Farley at the Girlie on the Edge.
Technology you just can’t rely on it. That was a fun read, Bernadette.

And I was just ready to find out what that next picture was! Connectivity issues will do it every time.

Unfortunately, there was a power cut. They’ve decided to call it a tie.

Oh dear, sounds like some censorship required. Funny piece

It was a kid’s competition so I don’t think there were any censorship issues.

LOL you had me at a “bunch of squiggles”. That would probably be me if I ever had to do an art show. And I don’t even want to know what the next thing would have been if not for the “technical difficulties.”

I guess I’m going to ask them to title their ‘artwork’ for the next time
