Another Halloween Night

“Can’t you get another time for this?”

“Nope, migrating birds don’t wait and an avid watcher always waits for them.”

“Avid? You started this hobby barely a week ago,” I can’t help but feel a chill as I look at the neglected buildings around.

Creeeeeek…

“Di…did you hear that?” she asked, her eyes wide; “it’s probably one of your birds coming to say ‘hi’,” I hope she hears the sarcasm.

Creeeeeek…

A woman appears behind us, face deathly pale and glowing hospital gown, she walked towards us; before I could react, Promila dropped her binoculars and ran faster than I’d ever seen.

I turned back and high-fived the ‘ghost’.

Today Pegman is visiting the Overbrook Lunatic Asylum. Join us for a creepy night out.

The word prompt (Migration) has been given by the Girlie on the Edge hosted by Denise Farley.
