Cheating Spouses

He held the camera with one hand while making notes using the other. He loved it when clients approached him to find proof against cheating spouses. It was easy money. Just follow the suspected man or woman, click a bunch of photos and send ’em along with a hefty bill. He saw the woman his client’s husband was with.

That night he sent back his client’s advance and left town.

  7. Great punch at the end – what did he fear? Lots of unanswered questions. This is exactly what flash fiction should be, a hundred stories implied in less than a few words. Loved it.

  9. It’s taking a big chance for a woman to cheat when her husband is a PI. She was out of luck. Well done, Bernadette. A good story with a great ending twist. —- Suzanne
