What Happened?

The sun’s rays barely crept over the horizon when she was up and about. She shooed away the bird perched on her doorstep as she swept. Hard days had forced her to turn her house into an inn.

One day she disappeared. Everyone she knew was questioned, the neighbours even conducted a search for her. Today when the sun rises, there’s no one to dust the courtyard, just a patch of freshly planted roses.

Today Pegman is in Songxicun, China. Join us as we look for her.

The photo prompt has been given by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields at the Friday Fictioneers. The word prompts (Perch & Horizon) have been given by Denise Farley at Girlie On The Edge and Sammi Cox as the Weekend Writing Prompt.

There are some others in the village who think so but none of us want to dig

  3. Hi Bernadette! Great to see you on Pegman. Looks like you used the WhatPegmanSaw location and Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers photo prompt, and ambitiously wrote a story on both prompts. I hope you shared your story on Rochelle’s link up too: http://www.inlinkz.com/new/view.php?id=815708

    Cheers!
