January 20, 2019:
I’m sitting in a comfy chair staring at the screen. Only 28 days left…
‘Ping!’ I pull down the notification screen to see that movie download has been completed. I immediately hit play.
February 5, 2019:
Whoosh, just got home. I open my bag and pull out my phone, only to see that HUGE list of things to do. Time to get busy…
February 15, 2019:
Ok, tight deadline. I’m staring at the screen again.
**IDEA!**
February 16, 2019:
Done! My article for WEP February is finally done.

The February 2019 WEP Challenge: 28 Days. (Click here to know more.)
I enjoyed your story. It’s really short so I read it a few times. I think it’s about the cycle of writing and submitting to WEP or any other blog. It’s the process of coming up with an idea, writing it out, and then doing it all again, right? In any case, nicely done. Also, be sure to submit your link to the main WEP page in the comments so more people can read your story. http://writeeditpublishnow.blogspot.com/2019/01/wepiwsg-first-challenge-of-2019-sign-up.html

I love that you made this as brief as the month, a clever device. And I love that you got the idea with a sort of “Ping!” like the downloaded movie.

Always trust a movie for some juicy stories (at least that’s what I think)

Hello Bernadette!
That was an interesting way to look at the challenge! I think the prompt caused many of us to have a deep think about how to approach it.
Thank you for participating!
(Your blog wouldn’t let me choose the account I wanted, so I used Twitter. Not much good for this!) This is where you’ll find me!

I can relate to this in so many ways! I keep telling myself that I have plenty of time, then I let the deadline sneak up on me anyway. Well done!

LOL, now that’s my kind of procrastination. Except its computer games that “I’ll only play for 15 minutes” that keep me from writing and posting.

Well, for a time it used to be the same (I just uninstalled all games)

Very meta! I always procrastinate, but I actually find I come up with better ideas when I have a tight deadline. The urgency of it somehow makes me more creative.

Interesting in its brevity. Sometimes a few words are all you need. Hope you will write more next time.

Hmmm… Maybe will. I’m actually quite used to writing stories between 100-300.

Love it! You really do capture the struggle to write, submit, repeat as an unending cycle—including the many distractions that make it hard.

I know this feeling. One down and on to the next one. When I am a ghost I will probably haunt computer labs attempting to write stories.
