We all have that emergency situation when we’ve dropped our cell phone or got drenched from top to toe along with our phone. In all cases, having a damaged mobile phone can cause an irritation in daily life. Here are some tips on how to solve some common mobile phone problems.
For Wet Phones
Ok, so you’ve accidently dropped your phone in a bucket of water and are wondering what to do. Firstly, don’t panic. Fish out your phone as soon as possible to prevent it from causing a lot of damage. Next, put your phone in a bag of uncooked rice for a day. The rice will absorb all the moisture.
Keeping your phone in your pocket with other sharp objects like keys or dropping it (again) is bound to cause scratches on your screen. While extremely bad scratches would need you to get your mobile phone repaired at a service centre, the not so bad ones can be dealt with at home. Apply a little toothpaste on a dry piece of cloth and gently rub the scratches away.
Clogged Charging Ports/ Audio Jacks
Over time the charging port or audio jacks can collect a large amount of dust or other gunk. This can cause problems when you try to connect your phone to a charger or a pair of headphones/ speakers. Simply use a toothpick to remove out the gunk which you are unable to reach with your fingers and then wipe it with a small piece of cotton.
So the next you have a problem with your phone, use the above tips to get your cell phone repaired without a hassle.
